Well, I’ve given in. I’ve ordered a MacBook Pro (2.0Ghz) and will hopefully have it in my hands sometime this week. Just after the weekend…
They have a free finance offer at present and, given the money is better in my account than theirs, I called up to ask about it. I had little luck, given I haven’t been in the country for three years, but the lovely chap I was talking to did through in enough extras to sink a small ship. For £20 over the default price I’ve ended with with a 7200rpm hard disc, iWork and a bag. So I was rather chuffed, especially as I though Apple didn’t go in for that sort of selling. But it has certainly left me a happy customer.
So now it’s just a case of watching tumbleweeds until it arrives…
