No, not bird flu (well, maybe, depends on how bad a news week it’s been), but vanity pages, or blogs if you prefer. This week I had two friends volunteer their new web-pages – Susie and Chris. So at least now I need not feel such an egotist for this paltry effort.
More importantly we’re on holiday. We’ve a week of freedom, with 4 days spent in sunny Glasgow (which is currently rumoured to be warmer than here). This way, however, we escape the need to travel at Christmas, what with the unions bitching once again and threatening to strike – after all, drivers are only paid over 30k for what is essentially unskilled labour. Lucky souls. I wouldn’t mind if they managed to get us to work on time…
