Every so often I think to myself “I will update my blog more regularly”. Perversely, those thoughts usually occur just before a prolonged period of silence. But tonight I’m trying to clear some backlog, maybe even the masses of e-mails I have yet to reply to. Bad me.

In an attempt to avoid this I’ve been watching the Evening at Adler video. Mac developers talk shop for 2.5 hours. Even better, it came down the line via a torrent at 200Kb/s. And in NZ I paid more for 256kbps. Yep, living at the edge of the world sucks.

Of course at this end of the world there’s always the impending cold and the tube. Thanks to the Northern line dying as I stood on the platform this morning I had an unexpected workout via forcing myself into overly packed northbound and Jubilee trains. At least it does make me feel a little better about my absence from the gym.

Other oddities this morning … the Metro (free paper at the Tube stations, courtesy of the Evening Standard) obviously edits it’s later print runs. Criticism of Blair disappeared and comments about hacking Sony PR arse up turned into Microsoft helping users remove it. Perhaps their editor was late? It certainly can’t be sympathy for Blair and Microsoft…
