Well despite the day’s best efforts – it was pissing down and the Northern Line was suspended after the drivers quit work because the emergency brakes were failing – I’ve had a good day. A large part of this was due to coming home, turning the router on and finding we have broadband, 7 days earlier than estimated. Hurrah!
I ended up choosing Demon and it looks to be going well. The service is up to 2Mbps and currently I’m getting 200kb per second on a download while playing Radio 4. Fantastic.
And I’m getting paid this weekend so we can [perhaps] afford a telly. Unless I get too tempted by the Palm TX…
