Well, Polly has accepted the Vinopolis job. So she’s back at work on Monday, slaving for the man, albeit one who insists that she imbibes large amounts of alcohol while at work. As for me, still looking, endlessly looking. Everything moves so slowly here. On the other hand there is a curry festival in Brick Lane this weekend…
On the toys front we have been considering getting Polly an iPod. And now we have another conundrum – which? There’s the iPod Colour 20Gb, an all round good performer with a decent amount of space and a reasonable form factor, or there’s now the iPod nano, which is not only a sexy, sexy beast but is flash based and so dropping it becomes less of an issue. Downside is it’s only 4Gb. On the other hand, apparently most people don’t even need that much.
And speaking of iPods, I braved the ever changing UI of iTunes and bought Demon Days. Wow, legit digital music. And all i had to do was come to the other side of the world (and download JHymn).
