As Polly is working over Christmas I decided I may as well work and save my leave to use when she’s around. So I’m stuck in the office on a lovely day. The floor is empty, bar one random MoJ person stumbling around. But just to spoil the serenity the construction site next door is going with the jack-hammers. Damnit.
To make life worse I’m merging two code repositories (damn you SourceSafe!). Boring work and no excuses to be distracted. Not even email. But it’s sheer arrogance to bitch seriously given recent natural events – it could be a lot, lot worse.
